I use ceramic discs in all my own as well as customer restorations unless 
they ask otherwise. The discs are far superior as RF and IF bypasses as well 
as looking a lot neater. Where a .1uF or other high value is needed I use 
whatever film/mylar axial lead cap is on hand.

IMO, Orange Drops offer absolutely no added benefit, cost more, and look 
ugly.
