[Hammarlund] SP 600 JLX Refurb

Hi Bill (& Becky),
I've done it both ways. Take a look at my www.boatanchors.org site and
find 'SP-600 projects' near the top and take a look at some of my SP-600
work. You can find the re-stuff method with pix, and some "leave 'em
there" pix with very small new electrolytics mounted near them. I can't
remember now which jobs had which, but if you have any questions on
that, or anything else in your refurb job, just drop me a note & I'll
try to help you out.
I guess it depends upon how original you want it to look underneath.
Re-stuffing is a bit of a pain, just disconnecting & putting in new ones
is easier. The dropping resistors in that string probably need to be
replaced also. The -JLX's arent very common, maybe you want to stay
close to orginal.
Don't forget, if you haven't already done it, to change the primary tap
on the pwr xfmr to the 130v tap.
