[Hammarlund] HQ-110 stability

I used my HQ-110C in the last CX and noticed very quickly 
that it was very unstable.

Every time some appliance in the house turned on or off, 
the HQ-110 would change frequency very noticeably.

I checked the 0B2 regulator tube, and it appears to be 
working properly. And I changed the 6C4 HF oscillator, with 
no noticeable effect.

I have some Hammarlund notes from BAMA that mention 
that the 6BE6 could cause drift, but my problem sounds 
more like dynamic instability rather than simple drift.

I would like to hear from others who own and use this 
receiver as to whether or not their receivers have as bad  
instablility as mine.

Any ideas from anyone towards a solution cheerfully 
accepted.
