[Hammarlund] HQ-150 Line Bypass Caps Needed

Today, there are caps specially-designed to go across the mains.
"Class X" (X1, etc) goes between hot and neutral, Class Y goes
between hot or neutral and ground. Emphasis is placed on having
them fail open, not shorted (i.e. on fire :). As to value, all
of the ones you listed are fine, the only important thing is low
impedance at RF. The fact that different values were selected can
be chalked up to individual designer's habits and predilections.
