   Last week I posted a need for the coupling transformer  between the AF amp and output 6F6 tubes of a Super Pro.  It had an open primary.  The friend I was fixing it for didn't want to put out the bucks for another transformer but try to trade around to get one.  I put a 3.7k 7 watt resistor across the open winding and a .47 cap to the center of the secondary.  I'm not saying that is a proper fix but it sounds fine and I was able to get the rig recapped and aligned.  Test played it for several hours with no ill effect.  Just a helpful hint...73 Rich
