[Hammarlund] Date of manufacture

I don't remember the serial number of my "bought new"
HQ-145X, but I bought it in September or October of
1962.  That may give you a bit of a clue.
 
I sold it to a ham in the Dallas, TX area in late 1966.
I sort of wish I hadn't!  I installed the fast attack/
slow delay AGC that my National NCX-3 used.  It made
for an excellent SSB receiver and matched my Hammarlund
HX-50 transmitter.
