[Hammarlund] HX-50

I have one here I was working on a couple of years ago, and ended up
setting aside. There were HX-50 and and HX-50A models as I recall, with
several minor changes. Mine came without the 160 meter coils and
crystals, but I stumbled upon someone who had an original kit of parts
for installation of this band - apparently Hammarlund would sell the rig
without Top Band band at a lower price in the era when Loran made the
band unusable in some parts of the country. A previous owner had also
considerably modified the power supply on mine, and I was in the middle
of fixing that when I stopped working on it. I'll look up the mods
that are documented in the paperwork I have.
