All Hammarlund radios have some discrepancy in what the tuning dial gives
you and what the actual receiver frequency is.

One trick is to have an accurate signal generator next to your receiver and
to put up a signal on the band you want to use, then tune across to find the
signal.

Another trick would be to use one of the digital dial products next to or on
top of the radio. They usually will work with just a wire loop inside of a
tube socket so it's a no-solder solution.

I mostly do utility listening/ decoding and this is the best way to be
spot-on.
