Bill, I believe the key here is the poor sentence structure and why on earth
would he provide so much extra money for a shipping company and request a
fund transfer? Stay away!

Subject: [Hammarlund] advice on shipping sp-600 to UK

Looking for some advice from the group and maybe someone has come across
this before.

I've restored an sp-600 and a chap who's email is xxx at yahoo.co.uk is willing
to pay the $500 + $50 extra for the radio and upto $3000 to a ship company.
This sounds quite "fishy"
to me, but if he delivers a money order, certified cheque how do I loose?
(He has to arrange packaging/shipping - not me)

Hello,

Nice reading your message and the conditon of the item,I would love to
let you know that i'm very pleased with the price and to let you know i will
be adding more $50 to it making $550 for the item,Now i will need to send
the details of where the payment will be send to, i will let you know that
the payment will be getting in canadian money order with the amount of $3000
once you get the money order deduct your own money including the $50 and
make the rest fund transfer to the shipping company so that the pick up of
the item can be done.

I will like you to consider the item sold to me..
