Hi Jim,
    It's been a while since I've been into one, and my forgetter's working 
pretty well lately.
    But I don't think you can get a good look without removing the whole 
assy.  You can take a look at some pix on my old work on one, at: 
http://www.boatanchors.org/SP200.htm  maybe that'll help you get an idea of 
things.
    I've got 2 or 3 more awaiting my attn, but will probably do another 
SP-600 before them.
