[Hammarlund] Question regarding Telechron clock-face repair

Hi,

  I Have an HQ-110 with the Telechron clock option.
The paint has
separated from the dial face (just like corn flakes),
but has not
fallen off yet. I was wondering if there is a way to
re-fasten 
the paint to the metal plate. 

 I was thinking of the Cyanoacrylate glue variants,
but do not 
know if it will discolor the paint or if it is the
right adhesive.
I do not mind seeing the cracks in the paint as long
as I can get
it to stick.

 On the off chance that someone has an extra clock
face or a 
dead clock laying around, I would also entertain the
idea of 
replacing it. The clock has the plain dial face and
does not have
the Hammarlund "H" on it.
