Thanks Roy,
I'm not sure how many 60's CQ's I have but
I do have some. Got them of all places out
of an old grainery that an acquaintance dad
had his ham station located in many years ago.
They were getting ready to tear down the building
and thankfully he thought of me and called before
pushing it down. There was still a lot of good
radio parts in there along with all his books.
What the mice and rats didn't totally destroy
I took home and have been letting "Air Out"
before bringing into the house. Maybe I'll
get lucky and have the issue but if not I'll
just trace out the circuit and draw up my own
schematics. Heck I used to do that all the time
with mystery "Stuff" I would scrounge. Takes a
bit of time but you really learn a lot that way.
Maybe someday the older CQ's will be offered as
a group like they did with QST and Ham Radio Mag.
Not cheap but you have them all at your fingertips
and it beats the nickel and dime drain per article.
Now don't get me wrong, I'd much rather have the
books but the CD's are a lot easier to maintain
especially down here in the south. Silverfish are
terrible to fight for anyone maintaining large
collections of books and manuals. You have to spray
your shelves almost yearly. That and when the
Hurricanes come as they often do here it's much
easier to tote a case of CD's rather than a room
of books to higher ground. Just things you have
to prepare for as you grow your collection.
Anyway enough on that. I'm just cheap .... Hi.
Good to hear from you Roy. Been a while.
Take care.

I've got a few 60's
CQ's so maybe I'll get lucky.
Skip,
There is online somewhere an index of most ham magazines of that era.
At
http://home.earthlink.net/~n3ntj/ham.html
there is a listing for
Amateur Radio Master Index:
http://www.ac6v.com/pageas.html#A
but that link does not work.
CQ has an index but only from 1980 onwards:
www.cq-amateur-radio.com/infoc.html
HERE you may find what you want:
http://hamcall.net/cq
CQ magazine archives online
A search for "HQ-129" gets lots of 1960's articles. BUT you gotta PAY to get the
content, unless it's in the first 10 pages of the magazine!
Baloney.
