[Hammarlund] HQ-120 Tube Socket

I am working on an HQ-120. The 6V6 tube socket is arcing between pins 2&3. Even does it with tube removed from socket. So looks like I will have to replace the socket, which is secured by rivets. Any suggestions ? Should I try to punch the rivets out ? Or drill them out ? I have been fooling with this stuff for 50 years. Hard to believe I have never had to deal with replacing a riveted socket before. Hi.
