Hi All,
What an absolute treasure trove of wonderful pix...! My thanks to everyone
who took the time to preserve such a time capsule, and to make it available
like this on-line...
Take a good, long, reflective look at the photos --- those are REAL men &
women making REAL products...things you can actually touch & feel with your
hands.
No "...information age, service industry" propaganda in those days. To see
anything similar to-day you'd have to travel to Asia & the far east, I'm
sorry to say...
