I still have at least a couple of each of those. I like them all. They have
different characteristics and differing uses. You might also add the RBL
to your list of good VLF receivers. I have several of those in varying
conditions.

Or find one of the 1000 or so R-389s. I had three of those, now have
one. An excellent VLF receiver on the lines of the R-390. Not for sale,
BTW. It has motor-driven main tuning and automatic switching of filters.
I found DERO to be an excellent VLF receiver. They also tune down to
10 Khz, which most don't.
Another excellent VLF receiver you might be interested in is the
AN/URM-6 by Stoddart. These are often described as Noise Meters,
but are, in fact, excellent VLF receivers. There was a whole series of
those covering from ELF through UHF.
I have several of those with most of their accessories available.
