Question for the SP-600 Guru's...

I have replaced all the old paper capacitors in the RF strip and turret 
sections with nice high quality disc ceramic capacitors.  I've checked 
all resistors in the same sections.  The IF strip aligned beautifully.  
The .54 - 1.35 band aligned real close. The next band (1.35 - 3.45) is a 
booger bear!  The lower end does fine, but as I progress toward the high 
end the dial gets more and more off until by the time I get to 3.32 the 
generator is on 3.31.  I am monitoring the generator output very 
accurately with a HP-5316B counter.  If I bring the low end up enough so 
I can even reach the 3.32 high end the dial is still progressively 
getting worse as the frequency increases.  I haven't tried the next band 
up to see if the problem exists there also.  This is my first outing 
with the SP-600 and she is kicking my butt!  I know I am making some 
stupid mistake, would someone please bring it to my attention?
