[Hammarlund] SP-600 Fuses

Thanks for the advice. I found a 1.5A fuse at Radio Shack and am using it in
place of the missing 1.6A fuse. I had already replaced the B+ and bias filter
caps so the 1.5A fuse works nicely.

This set is interesting. The tuning cap cover is missing so the JX number is
missing. However, since there is an IF Gain dial in the upper right-hand
corner where the crystal frequency knobs usually are, I'm guessing that it's a
JX-4. Thankfully, a prior owner removed the black beauties and replaced them
with caps that look like Vitamin Qs. That's the good news.

The bad news is that this set was stored in a very damp environment. There was
a lot of green crud inside the tuning turret on the fingers that engage the RF
deck. That required bandswitch wiggling to get them to engage properly. I just
spent the evening cleaning them off. (Deoxit and Q-tips are right up there
with Duck tape and WD-40 as the most useful items ever invented).
