[Hammarlund] HQ 140X BFO problem

I've got a nice clean HQ 140X I've had for some time but the BFO has 
been always weak and now is not working at all. I've replaced all the 
components in the cylindrical can under the chassis to no avail. Today I 
took the actual BFO assembly, Z5 I think....up but not detached and 
replaced R41 which is supposed to be 33k but tested at 51k. Now the BFO 
is not working at all. The only thing I can figure out to do at this 
point (since everything else including the tube is new) is replace the 
little micas inside Z5 (BFO assembly) Any ideas out there? I'm at my 
wits end. Thanks!
