The BC-779A were built by Howard Radio on a subcontract from
Hammarlund. The BC-779B was built by by Hammarlund.
No speaker is mentioned in TM-11-866, the manual for BC-779(), BC-794(),
BC-1004() and R-129/U  versions of the SP-200.

Speakers had been included with early commercial production SP-200 series
radios, and the prior SP-100 series, because they were electrodynamic
speakers, and the field coil was part of the radio power supply. Later
SP-200 commercial power supplies (and the military RA-74, 84 and 94 models)
had two filter chokes, and no speaker field coil terminals.
