Charlie,
You could mount a replacement transformer from AES.

A pull from a parts radio may do well if you can find one.
NOTE: output transformer failures sometimes are caused by leaky caps at
the grid(s) of the audio tubes. Make SURE you replace those caps before you
burn out another transformer.

Gary Brown will rebuild it for you (He's done some MUCH bigger transformers
that I've had the good luck to work with.):
