Bob,
is that not the transmitter affectionately known as the "Drifty 50"?
As I recall, Al Parker had the Hammarlund trio at one time; RX, TX and
amplifier. I do remember that it sounded good. I believe that is the only
time I have ever heard the Hammarlund amplifier on the air.
I am confident that you will find a suitable receiver somewhere in your
museum Robert! (chuckle)
