[Hammarlund] Silk Screened Front Panel for HQ 129X

Who makes the "aftermarket" front panels for the HQ
129X receiver, if anyone? I have a restored HQ 129X
with the new panel on it.

Tomorrow, I will replace the tubular paper capacitors
in my unrestored HQ 129X. After tweaking, I will
repaint the cabinet and restore it to its' original
Black cabinet. Would like to find a "new" front panel,
eventhough the original will probably clean up fairly
well.

The HQ 129X I will start on tomorrow was purchased new
in the summer of 1948 at Montgomery Ward in Sherman,
Texas for $139.00 according to the note pasted to the
inside of the top lid of the cabinet. I am allegedly
the second owner and the caps appear to be original
ones......WAX ones by Cornell...

Can someone tell me where I might find someone who
does "new" HQ 129X front panels?? Thanks and 73, John,
