Regarding the SP-600/JX-17:

Well, with the help of you guys I found all the necessary adjustments.  
Now I have yet another dilemma.  It seems the oscillator will not 
stretch to the high end of a few of the bands.  Before I delve head 
first into the bottom of hits thing, can someone tell me if this is a 
common problem as it is with the R-388, etc. although this receiver has 
no PTO?  If so, is there something in particular I should look for to 
resolve the problem?  The two bands I was able to align needed more 
adjustment than I thought should be necessary, but I just chalked it up 
to age of the receiver and not having been aligned after a very rough 
ride from up north.  Obviously, there is more to it than I thought.

Any ideas?
