Have an HQ-129 that works beautifully except for one problem. . .the audio output is very, very low.   I have recapped all the paper caps, have changed out the 6V6 and checked all other tubes.   The RX has great sensitivity, as I can hear signals on all bands. . .only very softly.  Question, I know this unit was originally designed for a low impedance speaker (6 ohms, I believe).   I'm just wondering if someone changed out the audio output xformer for the then more popular 600 or 800 varieties.  Since I am not that familar with the 129, I don't know if the xformer is original or not.   Is there an easy way to tell if this is the case?   Thanks much.   Buck  W0RST
