Since this topic has generated such interest, I am considering posting 
an explanation, with photographic examples, of the various methods 
and equipment needed to do this correctly to a website.

As time permits, I'll will do this, unless someone else does it first. 

When/if I get it done, I will post the URL to the lists.

This has been a most fascinating and informative discussion for me, 
and I thank you all for your input.
