You're right, of course. The 3db point is a power measurement, while
the 6db point is a voltage measurement, as I was reminded by Larry,
W1GOR.
In my last post on this subject, when I said that Julian could use his
scope's vertical voltage indication to calculate those 3db power points, I
should have been clearer. 3db power corresponds essentially exactly in
this case with 6db voltage, so on the scope screen they are identical.
Thank you both for the correction.
Sometimes we use those two as identities, whereas they aren't, really.
