[Hammarlund] HQ-110C Questions

I have an HQ-110C that has a couple of problems, and am hoping for some
help.

1) The IF alignment instructions talk about connecting the 455kHz signal
generator
to the "bus line" of the mixer grid of V2, the 6BE6 mixer tube. What is
the "bus line" -
I'm not familiar with the term? Which pin on the tube is it?

2) I want to add a new grounded mains lead. The existing lead is old and
cracked.
Right now the chassis earth is floating. How should the ground
connection from the
mains lead be connected to the receiver?

3) The choke L4 in the power supply is open circuit, and needs to be
replaced. It
is specified as 8 Henry, 375 Ohm DC. I don't have an exact replacement,
but I do
have a 5 Henry, 175 Ohm DC unit that I'd like to use if possible. Will
this work, with
a high wattage 200 Ohm resistor in series?

Thanks for any advice.

Julian
