John, the FC-135C is quite a bit older than the HC-100. I found one in
an old SX-28 that I picked up in a junk shop. The owner had installed
it...partially....with some of the leads wrapped around pins of various
tubes to pick up voltage and also to output the signal.

Barry, he had attached an old telephone switchboard switch as an on/off
switch. The switch was in the darkest colored lead (green?) coming out
of the FC-135C. The switch appeared to ground the green lead.

Unfortunately, my FC-135C had the glass tube crystal and the glass was
broken and one of the leads to the crystal wafer had been broken off.
If anyone has for sale one of the glass or metal tube 100kc crystals
that fit the ft-243 size socket (such as the Bliley KV3 100kc rock), I
would appreciate hearing from you.

I can't find any literature on the FC-135C either. If someone comes up
with anything at all...even a hand drawn schematic, please send it along
and I'll put it on BAMA.

Does anyone know who owns the web pages at
http://eshop1.chem.buffalo.edu/hammarlund.htm ? It looks as though he
plans to post some information on the FC-135C. If we knew who he is,
perhaps we could get him to post the info that he has.

73,
