I am not so sure it has to do with brains.  I am also pretty 
sure that we all get a generous helping of the grey matter 
at birth.  The problem is that some have not bothered to 
read the user manual.

As far as rocks go, I still have my pet rock from the 70's. 
  It is smart enough not to be needy, not to talk back, not 
to require maintenance.  In that regard, I would say it is 
the smartest pet I ever had.

Each to his own.  That is a good policy as long as 'each' 
does not interfer with someone elses 'own'.

At the risk of interfering I have to say that I know of no 
radio equipment that is worth more that what it cost new at 
the time it was introduced.  Anyone paying more than that is 
getting screwed.  I guess that is okay too, if you like 
getting screwed.

I have not looked at the Hammarlund auction for fear of 
becoming ill.
