One of their lesser models, regardless. IMHO, it's certainly not worth
a fraction of what the high bid is, but it is a free country.

If I did, I sure wouldn't spend it on one of those. There are far
better receivers out there for less. SP-600 comes to mind, even
without the ability to easily produce SSB reception. Or a nice R-390A
with meters could be found for that much or even less.

Interesting to look at the feedback level for the two current bidders.
If they're shill accounts, chances are good that they've outdone
themselves. If they are just new, uninformed buyers, one wonders what
will happen when an equally clean or better example comes up for $100
or less. Looks like the educated bidders bowed out before the $200
mark.

Maybe we're just missing something and they'll be a run on these
things. Invest now!
