The pre-Net commences at 12:45 PM EDT, (1645 UTC) and the Net proper starts at
1:00 PM EDT, (1700 UTC). The frequency will be 7.280 MHZ lsb +/- for key clicks,
mike splatter and the moaning and groaning of the NCS chair as the old blind
Wizard turns one year older. I don't put candles on any cake that I have to be
close to anymore, as those flames singed my nose hairs one year when i tried to
blow out those candles and the smell made my German chocolate cake with special
German Chocolate Frosting taste like an old rubber inner tube someone smeared
Roquefort cheese on! The nicely padded chair, as W5JT, Jim Thayer or K3TKJ, Al
Waller,  will confirm, is great for radio use, especially those long winded
Amplitude Modulation transmissions where everyone does a station ID at the ten
minute mark as the operator continues to rattle on and on and on ... This chair
has a built-in low voltage cattle prod wired to an automatic wind up with a key
clock timer that lets you take a 9M55S nap and then zaps your rump withjust
enough current to wake you up without causing your eyes to cross and leg hair to
become vertically polarized!

So show up on Saturday with some tubes to swap, a Ham Fest fib to share, your
dream radio wish list and pull up a chair. I'll be another year older, some wiser
no doubt, stuffed full of ice cream and frosting with my belt buckle out!
