Hi Tom...I guess this is what we nowadays call spectrum analyzers found on high end scanners and communications receivers offered by the likes of Kenwood, Yaseu, Uniden and others. I'm wondering if this technology could be useful for television DX'ing. The bandwith would probably have to be very wide. Of course uncle Charlie (FCC) has mandated that analouge TV will end in three years. From what little I've read so far, digital TV signals don't transmit very far away from the transmitting antenna. So DX'ing those will either be a bust or a super challenge. I don't understand why uncle Charlie wants us to throw away our TV's and spend thousands of dollars that we (or at least I) don't have for new ones. I like the ones I have. I guess they think that America will be better if only rich people can watch television. Anyway, I only have three years left to check out how this panadaptor technology might be used for TV DX. Any thoughts Tom, or anyone else on the list? 73's, Mike
