Please join the Saturday November 12th edition of the HCI 40 meter Net for a
special tribute to our friend, and now SK, KC2GSR, Richard Jubanyik. Not only
was he the voluntary legal counsel for the Hallicrafters Collectors
International group, but a regular weekend Net participant and very active Ham
in the southern NJ area. he will be missed.

The pre-Net commences at 12:30 PM EST, (1730 UTC), and the Net proper at 1:00 PM
EST, (1800 UTC). The frequency will be 7.280 MHZ lsb +/- for key clicks, mike
splatter and the sound of what I believe are Wild Turkey's doing that goofy
gobble gook sound as they strut around with their tail feathers spread out like
some kind of fancy Oriental silk fan, which just provides a great area for the
GPS tracking device to better aim the LASER powered Turkey Targeting
Tranquilizer Harpoon. When that sucker nails that gobbler it plucks him as bald
as old Yule Brenner was, decapitates him and removes all external appendages,
cleans his inerds out like a power washer gone berserk and blowing your impacted
ear wax out your belly button! Not to worry, he never knew what hit him! That
tranquilizer some Alchemist turned jungle Veterinarian whipped up in a painted
bone bowl made from the skull of a dearly departed and lightly broiled Rhino,
with his mortar and pestle pharmaceutical set, was potent enough to sedate an
active volcano to stop it from hurling! So pay no attention to the racket as it
is just old Tom the Turkey dodging harpoons, GPS guided LASER beams, a hunter
who forgot to take the mirrored scope cover off and can't figure out why when he
looks into the scope the crosshairs are on his forehead! That Turkey is so old
that he knew the original Pilgrems and still gobbles about how good the pumpkin
pizza with whipped butter fat was after they polished off the venison burgers
and fried French Friars!

So come hang out with us tomorrow and bring a Thanksgiving tale to tell, or tail
to pull, a memory of Richard to share and a glow from those wonders that still
make us glow after all these years. Hear you then!
