[Hammarlund] Clip trick?

Hi,

I have a SP-600 here that is going to need a complete re-cap and overhaul
(it's complete). I also have a complete RF deck assembly with turret, coils
and dials etc sitting here that the owner 'may' want gone through to use as a
"front end" for another receiver (or to build a "custom" SP-600 as he is
supposed to also have all the rest of the unit too). That last part would be
almost like building a "kit" without the assembly manual ;-) Guess you could
say it's a complete "basket case". They are supposed to both be JX-14's.

Anyway, I've done a number of these critters in the past, and of course always
have to remove all the coil assemblies to get to the BBOD's that usually
reside within. AND, I've always found removing, and ESPECIALLY re-installing
the little clips that hold the coils to be a real pain in the nether region.
IS THERE AN EASY way to get these clips off and back on without having to use
a lot of language that is unfit for man or beast?
