[Hammarlund] feeding into SP600 audio ckt?

Hi all, 

I've been interest in product detectors for ssb on the sp600(-jx26 in my case). And I was looking into an external kit (among other options).  

Question is, can any one recommend a place where I could disconnect the normal audio chain and insert the output of an external product detector? the kit has low level audio output and needs the audio amplification. 

I was hoping somehow I could use either the diode outputs, avc outputs or some existing connections to re-insert my own audio. I am too unfamiliar with the circuit to figure it out myself.

Any suggestions?
