  The connector is for balanced 100 ohm coax, which you don't see much of these days.  I just connect the antenna wire to one lead and ground the other.  Not optimum, but it works OK for me.  If you want to do a professional job, you need a balun to go from 50 ohm unbalanced to 100 ohm balanced.
