I certainly do whenever I can buy one. But the one and only one I was ever 
able to buy was about 15 years ago. I have seen none since.

I do not do that because I have one device here.  If you don't have one, I 
suggest you build one.

If you ever can get one, do it.

Yes, it can. The performance may be somewhat less, however, due to the 
difference in tube characteristics.

I have not tried my Nuvistaplug yet.  Once I overhaul an SP-600, I will though.
