Mike,
  The HQ100 never came with a factory 100 KHz calibrator.  If you're going 
to get a -100, get a HQ-100A which has the built-in BFO and doesn't have to 
use the q-multiplier in the oscillate mode.    Another one even rarer is the 
HQ-200 which I think is a more HQ-100B rather than a new model.  Circuit 
wise almost the same as the -100A, just a redesigned front panel.  I don't 
think the -200 was on the market very long.
