Hi

If you are running in a high vibration environment then the JAN parts
probably are worth using. In some cases when you look at a JAN part it
will have more support for the internals than a "normal" tube. Of
course in a lot of cases the JAN and normal parts look identical.

The JAN parts sometimes had higher minimum Gm specifications than the
standard parts or longer filament life ratings. I have never seen any
real difference either way.

After a while I suspect that the tube factory was cheaper to run if
everything was built as JAN and then labeled as what ever was needed.
An awful lot of tubes in my parts bin are marked with both part numbers
on them.

	Take Care!
