Patrick,

Take the can out and check if the "slug" is cracked, this can be repaired carefully with Epoxy,
see if the fine wires from the coils have not broken away from the posts. Check the reonant
frequency with a Grid dip meter, add or subtract 'C' as required.

HAve you checked the operation of the Notch Filter ? The signal must pass through this circuit
between T4 and T5. Remember there is a slug in the TOP and the Bottom of these IF cans....
