[Hammarlund] Tim-HQ170 audio

Isn't the HQ-170 and HQ-180 both triple conversion with single ended 6AQ5 
audio? I seem to remember someone saying it was due to phase distortion which is 
the drawback with multiple conversion schemes. This could be why the 455KC IF 
single conversion receivers with push-pull inverse feedback 6V6s or 6F6s are 
the popular choices for top fidelity.
