[Hammarlund] SP-600 product detector and Nuvistaplug info, please.

I'd like to add a product detector to my Hammarlund SP-600. Of the published
circuits, which have you tried and how do they work?

I'm also looking for a Nuvistaplug (a pair of cascaded 6DS4 Nuvistors with
matching circuitry adapted to a 7-pin miniature tube pin arrangement). This
vintage device was used as a substitute for the SP-600's 6BA6 first RF amp
to lower the receiver's noise floor. If no Nuvistaplugs are found (a
DISTINCT possibility), I plan to build one. Would anyone elese be interested
in one? I can build a few, if necessary.
