As always, all flavors and cents of vintage gear are welcome - (If its not
vacuum - Dont't confess, fake it!)
For those in the mid-west and eastern states who ar up to their buttocks in
snow, enjoy! From what CNN says, there is another storm coming down out of
Canada into the Ohio Valley and out East. Which means, Michigan will likely be a
benefactor too! Just when it finally thawed out enough so that I could find my
ground mounted vertical!
Warm up with us this evening with those wonders that still go glow in the dark,
provided you have electricity!, and join us for the HCI 20 meter Global Glow
Roundtable. It will commence about 5:45 PM EST, (2245 UTC) and run until about
8:00 PM EST, (0100 UTC). The frequency will be 14.315 MHz usb +/- for key
clicks, mike splatter and the explosive eminations of flatulence erupting
nationwide as everyone who is in fact, or just for the day, Irish, enjoys the
wearing of the green, Irish corn beef and cabbage and green beer. Even the river
in Chicago is green today! Now that has to be some sight to see for sure!
Actually I do have Irish ancestry, which is probably where some of my humor
comes from, the rest, who knows! In keeping with tradition, I will let the
resident Leprechaun man the mike while the Irish Rovers do some soft folk
ballads way in the background on the vintage H.H. Scott stereo equipment. Just
gotta play the famous Unicorn song on St. Patrick's Day!
I can't handle green beer, green apples, green bread, green tomatoes, green
spinach (don't think it comes in alternate color though) or green eyed girls.
The latter get me into trouble every single time. So I will stick to the corn
beef with cabbage, a green lettuce salad and maybe one of those Shamrock shake
things.
A happy St. Patrick's Day to all who celebrate it. Or as we say, "The top of the
morning to You" Do you know the reply?
Hope to hear you tonight -
