Bill -
The BC779 power supply,  called RA-94-( ) uses a 5Z3 for B+ and an 80 for 
bias.  Sometimes you see one with the sockets changed to octal, with a 5U4 
for B+ and a 5Y3 for  bias.  The manual, TM11-866, is available at the
