Tremclad makes a light grey hammertone paint which I have used recently.  If
the colour is not to your liking you can carefully overspray ( "fog") with a
very light coat of a medium grey...it still produces the hammertone finish a
little darker than the initial colour.  Don't use a lacquer-based paint to
overcoat as the Tremclad will bubble and orange peel.

Plastikote makes a black wrinkle paint ( #217) which I just managed to find
after looking for several months.  I found it in a harware store in Michigan
and had to bring it across the border myself as paint can't be sent through
the postal system or by courier into Canada. Price is $7.95 per can.
