I have an HX-50A for sale.  The HV electrolytics have been replaced 
(into the original cans) and a few other parts replaced as needed.  It 
uses the 5R4 instead of the solid state rectifiers because the HV is too 
high with modern line voltage.  It has been aligned and works on all 
bands.  The manuals are copies of the HX-50 and HX-50A addendum. 
 Cosmetically ok but the A has come off the front panel and the rear of 
the case has a slight bend away from the chassis.  Does not have 160 M 
coils (few did).  $350 plus shipping or pick up in the Seattle area.
