El Spencer, W8VHF [email protected] offers Hammarlund clock crystals. They're
vacu-formed reproductions -- not thick plastic like the original -- but once
they're installed, they look just fine. I've got one on my HQ-170A VHF. As
for the clock face -- a good original could be scanned, printed out on high
quality photo paper, trimmed, and glued in place.
Perhaps I can scan mine for you and print a copy this weekend..
Speaking of clocks, I'm still trying to find a generous and trusting soul
who will lend me a clock switch knob so it can be reproduced. A bunch of us
are in need of clock knobs. I PROMISE you'll get yours back.
Many thanks and VY 73,
Craig
