[Hammarlund] Are There Any Folks Running the HXL-1 Amplifier?

Hi Scott,
    I've owned and used 2 HXL-1's in the past.  The last one, about 4 yrs
ago, was with an HX-50A and HQ-180ACX, a very nice combination that got
very complimentary reports on the air.  Unfortunately it took up more
space than I had available at the time, and the pieces went on to new
homes for appreciation by others.
    You can see 2 original Hammarlund sales brochures for the HXL-1, set
up with the HX-50 and HQ-170, in the "H-Files" under "HXL-One" on the

I'm curious if there are folks out there actively using the HXL-1
amplifier.  I am in the process of buying an HX-50 to go with my HQ-180.
This was my station in 1970.  I've not known anyone using the HXL-1
before.
