Duane, that is NOT the problem. What is happening is
that messages sent and delivered several days ago are
suddenly reappearing on the various reflectors. The
same thing is going on right now on the "Glowbugs"
reflector which is a reflector that concerns tubes and
tube type equipment.
I usually reply to all since a number of the
reflectors can take up to 24 hours for the message to
get distributed to the list. That way the person who
made the original comment gets my reply usually right
away although the list may not get it for several
hours. That will be the same whether or not I "hit"
the reply all or send the message to the list and then
to the person. That person will get two messages, one
through the list and the other direct. Thus, why
enter two messages? The final effect is going to be
exactly the same!
Now, when I only want a specific person to get the
reply, then I definitely don't hit the "reply all"
function. But, when the information is of interest to
the entire list then I definitely reply such to get
them the information.
W7EKB, the "keeper" on the glowbugs list has been
trying to locate the source of the problem. He is
convinced that it isn't the University of Idaho server
which is the "host" of the glowbugs.

The problem is you guys. Do not use the 'reply to all'
function, because somebody else already did this. You
end up sending two duplicate messages this way. Send a
fresh e-mail and CC to the person.
