Mike -

I don't have any idea how old you are - do you have any kids or
grandkids? If yes, then it's time to think about "child proofing" your
home. If your medicines are on the kitchen counter so you remember to
take them, it could be trouble. If the drain cleaner is under the
kitchen sink, ditto. I think you get my drift.

For ham radio operators and other electronic junkies the problem is much
harder to deal with. Is that boat anchor standing on the workbench with
its underside exposed? Is it plugged in, even if the bench is off? Did
you leave a bit in the electric drill and leave the drill out?

How many of us have a workshop that can be closed and locked? How many
of us have paints and solvents, cleaning supplies, drug and medical
supplies up out of reach of small hands? Little people are very curious,
and no matter how well trained we think they are, they just can't resist
investigating things. Remember, they want to be just like Dad or Mom or
Grandpa or Grandma. They want to do the things they see adults doing.

Mike, sooner or later one of your little ones or a small visitor is going
to find that capacitor hooked to the back of the Star Roamer. Let's hope
you get there first. Been there. Near miss.
